what is the cyclonic  part all about?

at what height can this vac work at?

The cyclonic part is to do with the air flow through the hose and into the vac, it swirls around like a cyclone, this is meant to reduce the chance of any blockages within the hose.

Cyclonic is a clever name for changing the inlet. Some claim it boosts the suction - if it did then why don't they manufacture them like that in the first place?
All it is is a better inlet angle to allow twigs and pine needles through in my opinion. Your bog standard vac has a ninety degree angle which isn't brilliant for gutter debris.
