what is the cyclonic  part all about?

at what height can this vac work at?

-
The cyclonic part is to do with the air flow through the hose and into the vac, it swirls around like a cyclone, this is meant to reduce the chance of any blockages within the hose.

Cyclonic is a clever name for changing the inlet. Some claim it boosts the suction - if it did then why don't they manufacture them like that in the first place?
All it is is a better inlet angle to allow twigs and pine needles through in my opinion. Your bog standard vac has a ninety degree angle which isn't brilliant for gutter debris.
