Recently bought a Brodex 36' Aluminium Hydra pole for £195, very good pole with a 3 year guarantee.  The larger sections just slide off the bottom end of the hose so you can have it as a 30ft, 24ft or 18ft pole as required.  Not amazingly light but not too heavy either.

As an allround pole it's pretty good.

Gardiners Super Max 47. Probably the best pole I've ever had!
