Wondering what options i have of fixing the reel in the back of the van ?
Would like something that will hold it down, but wont make my life hard if the reel needs to come out
Any kind of quick release options out there ?

how about some metal conduit fittings.
fit the base plates to the floor put hose reel on top the screw the tops on
if you need to take the hose out it s just a few screws.
if you go on google images (conduit fittings) you shoul see what i mean.

what about those catches they have on drop side trailers and pick-ups,could something be constructed using them and then it would take seconds to remove reel with no tools

22 ml pipe fasteners. The type that plumbers use to fasten pipes to walls with. The only thing is dont get the open ended ones, they are alright but the reel can pop out,the better ones have a little locking mechanism that clicks down. fasten these to a piece of wood and then the reel to this and it as easily liftable ai and outable.
