When you clean in the rain, you gaurantee it, so if the customer has a problem the cleaner will reclean it free of charge.

its when you clean in the rain
if custys feel the clean is not good because of weather while you were cleaning
you will return to fix affected windows
basically so you can tell them you will work in the rain but wont leave a shoddy job because of it!!
i would only use it if you are gonna clean in bad weather otherwise they might use it for nothing
but from what people say i dont think many get called back

I have a gaurantee on all my work, but having a so called rain gaurantee goes along way with customers.
Jay yes you can clean in the rain with WFP, rain water as an average TDS of 025 and the water you use is 000 so the rain water will be diluted. anything under 020 is invisible to the naked eye anyway.

thing is, it's never the customer. It's always some numpty minding other peoples business as they walk down the street ::)
Usually the same one that tells you you've missed a bit :D
-
I tell my customers that if there is ever a problem to ring me, i also tell them i dont bite - even if asked nicely.
Cant remember anyone calling me back other than a missed sill

but the reply will be
" dont bother then, i will get someone else "
after the 100 th person doing that, most would start to worry

It depends if you have some sort of terms in place and that a copy of the terms are given to the customers, knowing Ian he would of given these out before the quote price. ;D ;D ;D ;D

the point is though most don't say

Try it, it's really good fun working in the rain. Wind lashing against the walls, dripping dirty water down onto the glass. Rain bouncing off the sills & brickwork. You p*ss wet through etc. ;D
Next time it rains, go outside, stand still & look up to the sky. Stay there for 30 mins then come back inside & have a re-think. ;)

Only if you didn't take into account rainy days when you priced up in the first place! ;)

I'm starting to do this (rain guarantee) and explaining that while I won't work in heavy rain I will work through showers and drizzle when I feel the need.
