Title: Pics Of Vehicles
Post by: steveo22 on November 15, 2009, 09:38:03 pm
I'd like to see the window cleaning worlds diverse range of vehicles, cars, vans, bikes, whether traditional or WFP. I'm currently working out of my crappy old Volvo til funds allow me to upgrade to a VW Transporter. I'll get some pics on tomorrow so you can all have a laugh. For inspiration though to us newcomers/paupers, get yer pics out!!!

My other half is also my business partner and I have been asking her about getting a new van lol
We did look at a Citreon Dispatch a couple of months ago.
As you can see I need a larger van, especially when we purchase a guttervac.

if your going to get a transporter make sure its a 2.5tdi. i think the 1.9 is under powered.

the custys never forget who you are when they see the van ;D

but then you get the vw fans who want to talk about it for an hour.

I run a 1.9 TD and i dont think it is to under powered and it does a good MPG my brother runs a 2.5 TDI and it drinks the fuel mine does about 40MPG local and he's does less than 25MPG local but that does go to 30mpg on a run.I surpose if you carrying loads of weight it would make sense having the bigger engine ,on my 1.9 TD the turbo helps no end mines on a S plate and it cost me under a £1000 so i think i got a good deal.

Still a work in progress here. 600 litre tank will be converted and will have DI tank fitted. Just working from a backpack just now but with a sack truck from Aldi (£22) which holds 2x25 litre drums and backpack on top so a 65litre backpack!!
