Title: Black scummy marks round the bath

 If theres nothing that I hate more than seeing a bath with black scummy marks round it, whats best to use to shift this please  , I find normal cleaner/flash ,doesnt budge all of it.

Cream Cleanser / Cif & Scourer does the job  ;D

Hi I use Flash and a scourer, seems too work. If the client tends too use an oil based product in the bath then this can be a pain as it's quite differcult tom cut through the grease, I know sombody on here reccomends using a biological powder mixed with water or fairy liquid very good degreaser :)

Harpic toilet cleaner and scourer

Use gloves, rinse immediately

Really :o wow ,when we say scourer do you mean the green ones, sorry for seeming dim :P, but one of my new clients got rid of a cleaner recently due to her using a scourer on her taps and scratching them , in which case Im assuming she ment a brillo pad ? :-\

Really, wow.

I have used metal scourers for over 6 years and never scratched any metal work, even built up limescale on sinks.

The thing with Harpic tolet cleaner is that it does most of the work for you and you can use either a green or metal scourer, if the limescale has built up then metal is best.

With harpic you can not leave it on long, 1 min max and then rinse off otherwise it can tarnish metal. Again although it's not what it's meant for it works a treat, just be careful, certainly makes the job easier and if you soak up with kitchen towel it's shines like new.
