Title: shut off for my static tank

hi, im running a 4040 ro in the garage in to my storgae tank which i took out of my van. i brought my system from ionics which had a auto cut off but after taking it out of the van and putting it into the storage tank doesnt work anymore. its got a probe that goes into a float. but when i push the float up it doesnt switch off anymore. can any one help or have a broken it. if i have where do i buy one from. thanks

doesnt it need to be connected to a battery, maybe wrong  :-\

i have it put to a 12 volt transformer then plugged in

I asked a similar question a while back and the answer people gave was Purefreedom. They sell the auto shut-off valve.

have you removed the switch or even added one too turn it on and off,

Is the solenoid stuck? They're really temperamental.

Give it a little twist.
