Title: Zensorflex
Post by: lee_dewing on November 11, 2009, 07:44:59 pm
hi
been reading through previous posts on fish poles.

just wondering about Zensorflex, how robust is it.

I use telescopic pole, ecolite (brodex) on 95 % of my work and a muscle zone fish pole, 30 ft.

use to have streamline 30 ft telescopic pole killed my back and arms ;D

muscle zone is good but thinner sections a bit britle, now got split in thinnest section brush goes on, i use bentley on this. is this pole carbon glass mix?

wondering is Zensorflex tougher and can i combine with my muscle zone, also i prefer my vikan hi-lo brush, good brush but is it just to heavy for fish pole?

thanks lee

Don't know anything about fish poles lee.

Have you thought about using gardiners brush. Most of us have now switched to it.

the Zensorflex and musclezone are very similar as the 8 M poles

the longer 11 M pole i belive is carbon

I managed to bash up a zensorflex (well, same pole different name) in under 6 months, but at under £20 it doesn't exactly hurt.

I bought a proper pole  ;D Today I broke another clamp lever (that's seven now) and then found I couldn't stop a couple of sections spinning cos the clamps had fallen off.
25 times the price of a Zensorflex too  :o

If the Zensorflex works for you then why not? :D

Me? I will still buy another sooper dooper pole.

How do you break so many clamps; what pole is it ???

We use Xtel Hybrids for a lot of our work and have NEVER broken a single clamp.

I guess you must be a BIG fella ;D

you keep on using your Xtel Hybrids whilst we laugh at you with your heavy weight pole, saves a trip down the gym for the weights

Does anyone have a link where I can get another Zensorflex from, or something similar?  I lost a couple of sections of mine (I'd have been cross if it was an expensive pole).

I got a £20 Browning pole which seems pretty much the same pole from the fishing shop in Lydney.

Thanks guys; I've got another Zensorflex on it's way.  It's a class pole and dirt cheap.  I use it with sections of another Zensorflex and a Browning, and I can comfortably get to high third floor windows.  I don't have anything higher than that, so it's fine for me.  And anything else I use my Harris for.

I've never broken a Zensorflex, I just keep on losing sections of it; I am a dizzy bint!

Pole snobbery, don't you just love it ;D

if it comes from people who have tried them, i can accept they have made a choice on what they prefere ( like ftp has, though he just buys what alex makes ;))

the people who havent tried it and they havent experienced the really lightweight and ease of the pole, i just dont get it, why comment if you have never tried it
