Just tell Ronan you're signing up as soon as you get your documents,.. I'm sure he'll give you the discount anyway!

PS,.. its the Guild I'm involved in,.. the FED is much more scary! ;)

I thought i'd post on this rather than start a new thread. Because Nathaneal was one of the first to make a hot system....

I've been using an on demand heating system for about two years.Recently i switched to a two man set up, my pole being hot, the other cold. Now, anyone who knows anything about these things knows that the heater will not flame up without a good flow, and in the few months since going plural it's more or less stopped working, probably because we work off of one battery.

Anyway, i've asked a couple of times on here about having the pump after the heater, and yesterday i took the plunge and split the hose after the heater to feed the two pumps and reels. And i can report it's worked out brilliantly.
Now we both have hot water.

Glad its working for you Clive! Do you have any issues with temperature spikes if one pole stops?

No it's on the lowest setting, and only flames when two poles are working. The main benefits are warm water and flexible hose.

If i used two batteries i expect one pole working would turn the flame on. If you remember i have a rinnai heater that is quite powerfull and this much greater flow (two pumps two poles) seems to suit it.

My employee has never used hot before and he was amazed at the difference. With winter coming on i thought i had better sort it.

The only issue i can see is that the heater is above the level of the tank, and as the pumps are after this there could be problems if i let air in or allow water to run out.
