Lost a few this last couple of weeks, mostly people moving and a reduncancy threat. Still picking up work but mostly gutter cleans at the moment, phone has gone really quiet now. Probably the clocks changing and the poor weather.

I have my house phone number on my leaflets. Some people (particulary the elderly) prefer a home number.

Not losing customers but new customers have slowed up a tad.
Still leafleting - only about 2% success rate but I love walking and working in this Autumn weather - especially after 48 years working in a shop and then an office.

Hi John,
2% is a pretty good return, we're down to about 0.5% on a good day :'(
Just don't let slip where you're leafletting, we'll all be round there :P ;D ;D

On my way to 63 - been WFPing for about 6 years - part time initially and full time since July following redundancy. Just wish my finances had allowed me to take the plunge sooner.
(when i say 'full time' I'm only working mornings most days.

Hi Ian
I found by chance, an area i didn't know about when on a day out with the missus. Didn't look like windows had been cleaned for years - hence the good return. 0.5% to 1% would probably be nearer the mark under normal circumstances.

Don't waste it John, they're like gold dust. Never mind waiting for them to ring, get out there and knock the doors!!!
