xte-l no4 section slightly larger, but just ad insulating tape around the grips gives you near 4ft extra if you want higher then ad no 5 and so on,
ok here it is, by adding this section, you will get an extra 3 and a half ft extra length, its a No4 xtel glassfibre section from http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/X-Tel_Fibre_Glass_Replacement_Sections.html the harris was a fraction small, so i wraped 6 times round the collar with masking tape, then cut the slits with the stanley knive, then i tightened it just slightly and it is solid, with plenty more room to tighten if needed,

because the alu is longer you can keep the section slightly up the pole, so as not to damage it sitting on the ground

if you have another 2metre pole just cut the rubber bit off the bottom of your original pole and insert extention drill holes to fit bolt to secure connection works great for me mate

its definitly a no4 section check it out on gardiners site,  length is 59in   0/d 38cm) i/d 34cm aprox just check it, to save any mistakes, just ask for the next section for a 17ft xte-l fibreglass pole,
