So much you really would not believe!

VAT, CIS, CSCS registered / qualified just for starters. All H & S must be tight and up to date; Policy, Risk Assessments, Safe Sytems of Work, Skills Matrix / Training, PPE issue, instruction and review. Method statements for all tasks.

This is just some of what you'll need when working with the nationals.

All that and poor margins  ???

hi there

i totally agree with the above post, our tender responses for builers cleans ran to 70 pages as an average.

we got out of the market about 10months before it all crashed, one GOOD decision that i made for once

i do wonder what the market is going to be like when it gets back in to full swing, it was bad enough before when builders built to the end of the DECEMBER and end of JUNE quarters for the shareholders.

i see that happening again but worse, there are sites that we were on over 30 months ago, and the follow on phases still have not been started.

good luck

regards

martin
