Hi all,
I'm having keyhole surgery on my knee on Friday, they reckon I've got debris in my knee so there gonna flush it out.
Just wanted to know if anyone on here has had the same thing done, if so how long did it take for you to be back to work.
Cheers.

Phil Tuffnell had it done and he was back dancing after a few days ;D

You may also find you have a torn cartilage and if this is the case they will remove the torn peice and inject some Jel into it, they can't see the tear until they go in but you will be asleep (well at least i was ;D) and you'll wish you had it done a lot sooner when your on your feet and moving around in a couple of hours ;)

i had all the " seeing the specialist etc etc "
they then decided i was too young

Had keyhole surgery on both knees in last couple of years (too much Footy). first time i was back at work the next day , all be it slowly and only half a day , and the next was on a friday and was back at work on the monday no problems. But i guess it depends on your age , fitness and type of surgery undertaken.

Thanks guys,
that makes me feel a bit better, you talk to these people at the Hospital and they think you can take three weeks off. Thankfully I'm having it done on Friday I'm hoping to be back on my ladder early next week.

If you are going up a ladder, perhaps take it easy for a little while. I was back at work a few days later but would not have wanted to be up a ladder that soon- I use a water fed pole system.
Good luck

Would you believe I was ment to be having the op today,
on the way home from work yesterday got a phone call at 4pm and they said that all the ops have been cancelled due to a bed crisis and they only just desided to call them all off.
Absolute joke, Looks like I'll be back to work on Monday as usual.
