Hi guys, a customer has phoned me to say that their lad had a halloween mask which had fake blood (dye) that burst and went on to a carpet and a light coloured leather suite, any suggestions of what I could use to remove this from both the leather suite and carpet?

Dye transfer removal is a process starting with the weakest product and then moving thorugh a series of steps finally arriving at recolouring if it is not totally removeable.
You will need
Step 1 Maxi Cleaner
Step 2 Alcohol Cleaner.
Use the Maxi Cleaner first. If this does not remove the dye then use the Alcohol Cleaner.
If this does not work then the leather will need to be recoloured/refinished as the dye will have travelled too far into the finish to enable it to be 'cleaned' off.
Do not use Magic Erasers, solvents etc as these will only remove the dye by damaging the finish, the same applies to products sold that 'guarantee' to remove the stain.
Let me know if you need any further help.
Cheers
Judy
