ive got a web site which is run by site wizzard, they sent me an invioce for my web domaine name , which we have acouple ,is this normal pratice to charge , every year for your name , can any one advice me ,

THEY OWN IT even if you paid for it

you have to pay for your web name every year,  make sure you pay it on time as someone else can buy it when it runs out  and theres nothing you can do if someone else buys it   its big business buying up web names then selling them on

Should only be a few quid each year or every 2 years.

Whoever is hosting the website will need some money off oyu as well, and this will be much more - unless you pay for it monthly.

Got to say, that hardly made sense....  ::)

Anyways,  if you mean the domain name then yes! you will have to pay for it every year. Every year if its a .com .org .net etc etc and EVERY two years if its a .co.uk

If your talking about the hosting package then its either every month or once a year (depends on what option you chose when you signed up)
