Title: JUST STARTING UP!
Post by: luket on October 30, 2009, 02:31:27 pm: Hello all. I'm new to this site, and joined up after deciding that I wanted to be a window cleaner. I've had a few weeks working with a mate of mine, so am pretty clued up in what to do. I've sourced all my equipment and got an idea of where I want to be doing my rounds.

I know I need to go canvassing, but I get the impression that I need to do a leaflet drop first. Which is where the problem starts. I can't come up with a name to put on my leaflet. I don't know what to put on my leaflet. I've scoured the internet for ideas but can't really find anything. I can't find any flyers knocking about locally to get an idea. I need help!! ??? ??? :-\

Initially I plan on using traditional methods, and cleaning ups and downs, patio doors, conservatory window, gutters etc.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I myself am new to the game and am also leafleting and canvesing, so good luck. (unless your anywhere near me) :D

Why walk the same route twice ??? ??? ???

Take some leaflets with you when you canvass just for the people who are rude enough to be out when you knock. That way you should at least go home with some new work every time you go out ;D

I am assuming your name is Luke (from your user name...we're clever us WCP guys!) so how about:

Luke Clearly Thru Window Cleaning
Luke Spotless
Luke Gleaming Glass

just a couple of idea's

P.S. When you need some round management software then dont forget Window Cleaner Pro (sorry Mr Morris...it was a blatent sales pich and i apologise!)
