LOL.

Do you think it was down to technique? or have you been going for a while. What was the problem? Just curious as im venturing into wfp.
-
are you useing pure water?
-
Youve had the wfp 18 months sat in shed lol. Get some pratice in mate!
-
been using for 6 months now but was shocked to see the results today form indies on some wondows. i scrub and rinse loads. water qulaity round here is 28ppm and my tds is 0

Poor paintwork, perished gaskets, traffic film, insect specks etc etc etc. WFP isn't a magic wand, it can't cope with every situation but if the windows are in good condition without cracked/oxidised paint or poor gaskets or oily deposits, then bad results are almost always down to operator incompetence.
So there :P

So to sum up, WFP only works in lab' conditions!!!

dont forget it can take 3 cleans before the frames and glass are fully cleansed

been doing this place since june every 3rd week. They have never said anything as i always ask how the windows are and if all cleaning up ok. I was shocked to say the least. I may trad these ones from now on as be just as quick and wipe frames down every so often as it's a conservatory sat very low on outsides and sunken into the property inside.

The worst thing I'm still finding is I'm still, after 6 odd months, getting white dots at the top of frames. It's not dirt I've missed,it's in the spots of water that is left after I've rinsed, but just at the tops.TDS is 000 and the rest of the windows generally seem fine.Spoke to a very experienced chap I bought some gear off and he said there is naff all you can do about it.I trad downstairs windows now because of it so at least I can be assured the downstairs is tip top.As a side note,I've never had a single complaint about wfp results though.
-
I bet theres trees nearby. Very close.

thats not totally true, or it's misleading ;D
-
i agree with craig 72 and feel there is nowt you can do about it..

Next time you see those spots - take a closer look and try 'buffing' them off.
You might find that they are inbetween the panes of glass - I have come across a lot like that.
Where I find that to be the case, I point it out to the customer so that they are aware that it is not my cleaning that is at fault.

I'm shocked that you haven't checked your finished wfp work before. :o
The good bit is that now you have seen the result, you will/should work out how to overcome it.
And once done, you can fly round safe in the knowledge. All you gotta do is get it right that 1st time.

it really isnt that good sometimes
i know people on here seem to think its 100 % all the time and they hate to read otherwise
i set my standards high, but when ever i do the insides i allways spot faults
-
if they are happy then i wouldnt worry...and I certainly wouldnt go back trad ::)

let me correct what i should have said ;D you should always inform all new customers of the 3 cleans, you either charge for the first clean, and spend the time there to get it cleaned first time round, or do 3 fortnightly cleans before starting a monthly or 6 weekly clean, thats how i do it,
-
when i use wfp i make sure i give the windows a good swill ,this seems to do the trick .
start at the top work across then do the downs ,
-
agree with prisoner Number Six :D will deffinitely be trees around. also it is a week after you did them with. all the rain we've had and wind.....

Exactly.
Particularly this time of year when all the leaves and crud is coming off the trees a house underneath or close to trees a week after doing the job WFP is likely to have those windows immediately in the firing line spoiled.
