Title: Employee's handbook

Hi I have looked on the documents section for an example of a handbook but the link seems to have gone, so can't download, im only looking for somthing basic, any ideas would be well appreciated. ;)

Hi Barbara, very well thank you, client is very happy with her and her work is great so all good so far....

I just wanted to put together a handbook for any future staff I take on, is this somthing you do for your employee's?

Hi Nat,

I did upload an old employees handbook, but got a few phone calls and e-mails threatining to sue me, because the information was out dated! Even though I stated at the time that it should be used as a starting point only.

Other times, we found out that that and other documents were doing the rounds on the net, even though they were provided for each individuals use, some people were actually charging people for them, whilst others were making minor changes and distributing them without any regard to copyright. Some even kept my name!!!!!

So now, I only answer or help individuals on the express condition that they do not share any information or document with any one else, this allows us to track electronically for copyright abuse.

I have no problem, helping any one, but I do expect people to play fair and follow the rules.

Hi Rob, I completely understand where you are coming from, I have only just started employing staff and at the moment only have one girl working for me who is a friend.  I will not be giving her an employee handbook, but was looking for ideas on what to include in one for future employee's.  I would under no circumstances pass any information onto anybody else, but totally understand if you do not want to share any information on this subject.

Hi Nat,

Sorry for delay in replying, not got the handbook on file anymore as it is about 5 or 6 years old, not prepared to send our current one sorry :(.

However, I think there is a copy on another site, but formatting is all over the place, but at least they have now removed my name from the document! will send you as an attachment when I get 5 mins, again I must insist that this is for your own personal use, not to be shared by any means or sold on.
