It's a steep learning curve and to ask what's the best stuff to use throws up dozens of different answers.
You'll soon have a huge collection of chemicals to show off to your friends, my next door neighbour thinks I make bombs :D

Lift Off, Florasan and the Bio Enzime Treatment are always on hand for me!

I like Prochems stuff too and the M/S are pretty good too. I am slowly getting round to using mainly stuff I can get by driving a short distance to in Cornwall.... I'm getting good results with Blitz!

Regards.... Col.

I often wonder who these companies sell their chemicals to.

I wonder if they have  major customers like who ever cleans trains for the various train companies, or bus operators etc

And are small carpet cleaners just the jam on top

Of course they do Ian. A major bus opertaor uses Nemesis for all there cleaning, seats, floors, windows, even the garage floors. The take this in IBC's 1000 litres at a time. They use it because it works and because it is a safe product.
Some of the train companies use in house cleaners but most sub it out to either the big players like ISS or smaller franchises. Stainbusters used to do a lot up in Newcastle. They would come from all over the country and spend the weekend doing a mass clean. A lot of the big janitorial suppliers sell into large nursing homes chains and health care facilities. People like universities, hospitals etc take delivery of pallet loads every couple of months.
