Title: hot or cold water systems
Post by: kordun on October 20, 2009, 08:47:22 pm
Hi
I have been working as window cleaner for company and now i decided to start my own business. I do have a funds to buy new van and equipment but im not to sure whether to go for Thermopure - Hot Water or just normal cold water systems.
When advertising hot water cleaning do you think customers will like it more or doesn’t make any difference

Your opinion please regarding hot or cold system

although hot systems are much better (faster) on first cleans, conservatory roof facias and so on, i dont think there is really any difference on regular cleans, so on ballance when you weigh up the extra running cost against the benefits i dont believe it is worth going for hot. and this is why i have decided to keep my business cold for now at least.

however i have considered getting one hot van and making it a dedicated team for first cleans and the above extras and charging more,
