Title: Alex.... X-tel pole,
Post by: geefree on October 17, 2009, 01:57:34 pm
Hi,

i used a 21ft x-tel before it wore out,

i found it good for all of my everyday work, i think it came down to 5 ft closed, and as it was light, i could easily do downstairs too,

now, i am going to get another one, but i think i need that extra reach for hard to clean windows above con roofs, and third storey windows,

will the 24 ft ...(27ft reach).....come down to a decent size so i can do downstairs also Alex ?

or is it a bit big.

Thanks

Gary.

Better off having a 17ft for everyday use and then something (I am guessing you already have going on your post) for those higher jobs IMO. They are £50 odd quid for a bare pole. If the majority of your work is 2 storey then you wont go wrong ;)

Hi,

I have a 17ft and a 15ft, but then i have to swap for a heavy 30ft pole, and i hate it,

so i want another xtel...but i would like to know if the 24ft foot is also suitable for downstairs too, as the 21ft was .

Thanks.  ;)

Gaz,

I own both the 21ft & 24ft Xtels and there is very little if any difference between the closed lengths.

i use a 25ft hydrapole for everything.

keep breaking the bentley section if harris pole, so would also like something 16ft ish and light enough to use on my day to day stuff.

Yeah,

The 24ft Xtel is the main pole I make the guys use and their happy enough with them, although I would recommend you fit a SL brush as they can be a little whippy when fully extended.

The 24ft pole is only a few millimetres longer than the 21ft version. So if you are happy with 21ft you should be happy with the 24ft.

SPOT ON MARK 24ft not the best tool in my opinion.
