Got a Scudo 1.9d on a w plate. Just today a few times the van wouldn't turn off. Turn the key but nothing happened with the engine for about 30 seconds, then it went off.
Any ideas anyone?

it might be haunted ??? ;)

Fix It Again Tommorow
Apparntly my Peugeout Partner van when my dad was using it, never happened to me tho.

sounds like a faulty stop solenoid. they arent expensive and are fitted on the rear of the injection pump But can be awkward to get too because have a theifproof cover hiding them .

Classic ;D Guy at my local garage said they had 2 haunted fiat's in last week. ;D

It was expensive when I first bought it, cost me nearly 1k in the first two months with clutch, disks and pads and loads of other things going wrong. So far this year it hasn't cost me a button and is/was going really well.
There was alot of condensation in the van yesterday, could that be something to do with it?

ive been a fiat man for about ten years, lord knows why as they arent comfy and desgned for an italian wiv long arms and sort legs . like most im drawn into Fiat as theyr cheapest and the dealer backup is always bad too .
some of those stop-solenoids are linked into the brain computer ,as an anti theft measure, now i hope uve not got that type as they are only programable at the dealer and pricey/ however the non program type can be fitted in their place
of couse u can alway just put on the handbrake and gently engage top gear to stall the engine
