Title: Cleaning Marble type floor
Post by: garyfindlay on October 15, 2009, 09:36:24 pm
Just taken over a communal area where the last cleaners had used carbolic soap type cleaner on the marble floor shown. It is like old fashioned floors in blocks before carpets were used. Some parts are rough, others smooth, some dark, and some light,so I think it may need resealed. Is it an easy/low cost option, or could I buff the floor, or will it make it worse. I know the tenents won`t pay for it to be resealed if expensive.

To polish this floor it will need diamond polishing, you will not get high gloss with any sealers or polish. You would be looking at around £40-£50 sqm for this service.
