got an email from them asking me to quote for them. I had previously been in a few months back whils tsome building work was being done and they took my details. So anyway i emailed them back last week and told them i would pop by today (thurs). I goes in and notices a window cleaning van on the premises.
I ask to speak to my contact and they then inform me someone already cleaning windows. I told them that i had been aske din and they just said oh sorry someone should have phoned you. Cheers! 30 mile round trip for feck all.
why bother to mail me asking to quote and when i turn up 7 days later as i told them i would they already have someone doin g it. ???

When get asked to quote always go as early as possible i.e. same or next day. Always do first clean as early as possible and then fit it into your rota, that way you avoid on missing out on those important contracts. Even if it costs you in time and going out of your way for the first clean you will claw this back with future cleans.

When someone rings they expect it doing there and then, try not to put off quotes like that mate ;)

its the early bird that catches the worm .when contracts call u .u say yes sir .whats the best time to call .
