Nevil, you're almost a Cockney ;D
-
Never thought there was so many either ;D
Anything for 25 quid ;) ;D
-
£25? I'll clean all your carpets and sofa and you get a free over clean for spending so much ;D Now, where's that Vax.....?
-
Colin You can borrow my rug dr if you want ;D
-
Woah, a Rug Doctor? I don't think I could handle the psi, never mind the suction..... Will it not suck my cat up ;D
-
yeah good point..your attached to your cat then... ;D
-
I don't know what you amateurs are doing playing around with rug doctors and Vaxs. You need to get a real mans machine like mine. The flushing power of my mighty Numatic George is so great that I have to where wellies to work. ;D
Colin. Actually Colin I am a Cockney. I moved down here when I was 3 years old. You know what some of the folks in rural Cornwall are like. It took about 20 years before we were accepted by some of them.
-
Funny you should say that Nevil. I gave a quote the other day for a sofa and the lady wanted a "Local" to do it and my Cumbrian accent put the anchors on me getting the work ???.
Got a call last night to do the job cos the guy she got in wrapped up after a short while without finishing ???
-
Hey!!! Im half Cornish and half Devonian so I get best of worlds ;D a local in both areas I guess. (not that it has ever helped me in any way lol.)
-
O no not a george.....i will back out gracefully with my RD :(
-
so am i the only Cornish man left in Cornwall?
Think you should all clear off back to where you came from!
Cheers Goron
-
Hi Goran. I get it you want the whole county to yourself. I think not. Your just going to have to share. ;D
Colin you could spend your spare time learning the accent. A few propper jobs alight bhoy slipped into conversation when your quoting could work wonders.
Nevil
-
I would Goron, but our second home in the Lake District is still occupied by her dad ;D ;D ;D
You know you love us Emmets!!!!!
-

Never heard that one Colin, thought all the chavs where up in Carlisle.

Sorry pal, I thought you were up in Carlisle for some reason...
Jam eaters are Whitehaven lot.... Something to do with the mining community....
Do you know any C/C's from Out West? Tatie Rayson or Maurice Hetherington.... Both Cockermouth C/C's...
-
Met one guy many years ago, at a prochem do, cant remember his name, he did Sellafield work.
Met a guy from Cockermouth once too i think he drove a peugeot people carrier, am hopeless with names.
The name Rayson rings a bell.
