Title: People taking the P!!

Got an email from my site query box yesterday from a guy looking a quote for his house, gave his number, where the house was, email address and how many windows etc(not the address though) so i believed it to be genuine, got offline and went to phone the guy, number not recognised, then emailed him with the given email, again email doesnt exist.  What i want to know is what exactly did the person who done that get from it?  Has it happened to any of you at all?  Not that i care but when you get your first query from your site you sort of get excited knowing its working for you.  Then to get that was a bit of a bump down again.
