woke up this morning, some c*nts nicked both my wing mirrors off my van!
Went to the police station (only went coz there's cctv in the car park), who then told me I shouldn't be driving it as it was not in fit and proper condition to drive safely on the road (fair enough, I didn't feel safe driving it anyway). So no work today, waiting for new mirrors to come.
One of the mirrors they got is no good as it was fixed in place for my driving position only. I think they might come back as there is another van just like mine parked across from me. I've told the guy who owns it to keep an eye out.
Hopefully the cctv in the car park got some reasonable footage. Cheeky bar stewards, been thinking about them all day standing outside my van >:(, grrrrr. I would have loved to have caught them doing it.
Anyone know any good ways to booby trap a van?

Try a mercury tilt switch & a couple of kilo's of semtex...

Mine was smashed 2 days ago outside my house. They wanted the colour coded plastic. the only way I know that is because its the only part that is missing.
Trouble is it cost the earth to replace.
