Title: Fixed reel hoses...

I few have recommended these type of fixed reels but isn't it a problem with positioning of reel to face house and what about security?  I presume if you are fixed reel you need to have the van door unlocked and slightly open to run hose from.  What if you are away from the van??

There seems to be pros and cons with both fixed and free standing and I'm not too sure what is best now.

i use a fixed reel most use 1 that is outside of van its all personal prefrance

How much is positioning a problem for you?  Isn't it a problem if you have to run the hose out of the van and then go 90 degress??

Isn't your van left open with you away from it??

Hi, mate.

We do usually fix reels in our and customers vans. See pictures at http://www.moemgorod.com/index.php?productID=167

We even buy special wall/floor fixed reels for that. For the security and comfortable work we use Redashe roller guides.

This is my solution, works fantastically well, have a little over 180 degree working field.
