Title: EXTERNAL PORTS

I assume the extrnal ports are for the water transfer so am I right in thinking that you would only need external ports if you were going to use a free standing hose and hose reel outside the van and with all the doors locked?

I assume that external ports are NOT required if you have a fixed hose reel?

Or have I got this all wrong??
