Drizzle or proper rain, either way you still get soaked and customers don't like it.

Oh matt, the great soothsayer. I bet you're a bundle o joy in times of crisis ;D
-
I work in rain to a point and don't mind getting wet.
Rainy days are the best for new cleans - all that free rinse water :)
However, I wear glasses and if it's too hard I can't see what I'm doing - maybe contact lens or laser treatment is the answer.
How do any of you other 4-eyes manage in the rain?

Even wearing contact lenses dont make it much easier. when you get drops in yours eyes, your contact lense lifts and becomes uncomfurtable and blurry. i dont work in the rain but wen im working wfp and the water is dropping on to a lower window sill is a real pain.

beautifull sunny day here and my van wont start :'( forecast for tomorrow is pretty bad though

I don't usually work in the rain, but when I do I wear a baseball cap to shield my specs from the worst. It helps, but it isn't a solution. :-\

Pointless here in Surrey! :-[ Oh well, didn't have much work.

i went though the op in jan this year
my only advice is to take the 6 weeks off, the amount of people i spoke to who went back to work too soon and are still in pain many years after
-
Lovely sunny day here in the Scottish Borders, a bit nippy but it is October ;D
-
I spoke too bloody soon!
-
I thought it was going to stop :'( went out got to first job and it started again AHHHHHH >:(
-
No let up here either >:( (Canterbury)
Haven't wasted the day though. Spent the morning in the garage servicing all the gear. Also got a new customer who was just passing and saw the magnetic signs on the car.
Still time left for it to stop raining and perhaps get a couple of local jobs done.
-
been nice and sunny down here in north cornwall ;D ;D

July this year, 4wks off and no problems, only thing i had to see the doctor so i could drive again ,ie insurance wont cover you if you go back too early.

Yum, I like custards.
-
Drizzly here today but i managed to do enough work to buy a new van, an Ionics system, a new fifty foot carbon pole from Gardiners and I picked up fifty new customers. Nothing wrong with cleaning in the rain. Just a case of training your customers. ;)

And dry here on the NW edge of Bristol too.

in Hampshire, very heavy rain this morning, worked through it.
Got so wet I had to buy a t shirt to be able to carry on as my original was soaking wet even through a kagoule.
Always work in the rain, they get used to it and as they say 'time is money'
