Title: Just a couple of quickies...
Post by: Fieldsy on October 03, 2009, 03:41:48 pm
Just about to set up a van system and 110amp battery will be in parking distance of garage in van...............would you use crocs from battery to pump or battery terminals??.......as I've read terminals would give a better connection but obviously a bit of a pain if you had to lift battery from vehicle every time??

Which charger from Halfords.......and a link if you have one please.

thanks

go for an intelligent charger mate
thats what we use.
Normal chargers are cr*p
Think I got one from cleaning spot or one of the main suppliers
around £40 mark.
We charge up once a week .
Leave battery in situ and run an extension lead out to it.
Simples  ;)

They are okay-ish but there are some better ones that look like normal battery clamps but have a quick release lever on the side where the nut goes.

Just found this after sifting through leisure battery chargers.... I've managed to find it for £25.99 with free delivery. Would it do the job on a 110amp.

If not woll go for the machine mart, just thought it would save me 15 quid if it does the same job.

thanks
