Just wanted to know how do you deliver hot water on a freezing cold pane of glass without the glass cracking?
-
Not sure but what I do know is hot water freezes quicker than cold
-
have it turned right down and spray glass b4 touching glass with brush
-
Start in the center so the heat travels outwards ;D
Only had 3 UPVC sealed windows completely shatter out of their frames so far. ;D

WOW! that's 1 more than me!

and oviously dont use it wen its baltic outside lol

i use mine all year round with hot , in winter its used at a lower temp like 16/ 20 degs as in summer its full on 55/ 60 degs and only broke 5 now ??

I'm really going to show how stupid I really am..do you really break/crack glass with a hot system?
Sorry to sound silly.

To be honest, I rarely turn the temp down any more. Even in the middle of winter it'd be 40 degrees C or so.
I find heat loss through the hose automatically adjust the temp for me,.. the colder the day the more heat is lost before the water gets to the brush!

just dont seem worth it if peope keep braking cusys windows with them am sure there a way round that

Oh the Mpemba effect ;D.
But it does say hot water CAN freeze quicker, not does. There are too many different scenarios to be certain either way.
Don`t know how wfp systems are affected though.
Interesting all the same, or I`m very sad. Speaking of which Jeremy Kyle`s on.

but some of the guys who posted on ere saying they broke x many must b using lava or something lol
-
I don`t think that`s due to the hot water freezing though.
