Could anyone be so kind as to email me a copy of the above 2 documents. I know I will have to use my own information but I need something to use as a guide & see what is required. Please help a small company desperate to grow :-\

if you click on my website www.perrycleaning.co.uk and go on the health and safety page there is a copy of our H and S policy which you could take pointers from to write your own, as for risk assessments these depend on the job you are doing and each one is different so i wiould just look on the health and safety sites on what you need to include in yours.
hope that helps

Long term, I think you should look about at your local business college and get some certification in how and what is required.
Im currently working my way to NEBOSH General Certificate in H&S, this is a really good thing to have in the eyes of properly managed commercial sites who are looking for properly trained and assessed companies.
H&S in the commercial sector will get even more apparent, as more and more compensations claims are being given out due to poor H&S.
Also ask the college or training centre regarding funding too, you may be eligible for it.
