Used to, but they really are not worth the premium.

12 quid per month provides you with accidental cover which is not too bad really

But only if you are hospitalised for more than 3 days, which the majority of accidents we would have as window cleaners would not be. Your twelve pounds would be better invested in an income replacement plan or mortgage protection, which would cover you for illness or accident and is not reliant on a hospital stay of longer than 3 days.

currently have mortgage protection. where would you find info about these income replacement plans

when i was 20 i was no 4 salesman in country for combined...................................... i dont have a policy ;D
-
i dont have any kind of policy but i beleive combined pays out straight away 2 days off with bad back makes you think, as a rule its very rare i'm off work so i think why bother
-
I use combined as they cover me for motocross riding - which is sooner or later going to put me in hospital!

Had an accident policy with combined, they are really irritating people and turned up at my home every few weeks unannounced to go through the details of the policy and try and sell more policies, hence I got really peed off and cancelled sending the salesman off with a flea in his ear! ::)

I had a policy with them and a few months later a different bloke turned up trying to sell me the upgrade version at £30.00 monthly,I thought I was already covered for certain things on the first one and I said I would think about it which I had no intension of upgrading as I wanted to see exactly what I was covered for, somebody was lying, either the first bloke that came around or him,I had the paper work and seen that the first option suited me better, the £12.00 monthly one, however I was doing a very large property one day and this bloke turns up and says "Oh........I spotted your van and was wondering what you decided"
He walked in as if he owned the place and did'nt leave for a good 25 minutes as he followed me around, luckily the owners were not in.
He would'nt pause for breath, just talked and talked,I told him that I was quite happy with the first policy I had with them but he would'nt have it.
I was fuming and told him where he and his company can go,I said that I will be cancelling as they were too pushy.
THEY ARE VERY ANNOYING IN YOUR FACE SALESMEN
