I have leaked some oil on my black tarmac drive filling my PW.. whats the best detergents, grease remover to use on it?
Its only been there a week, but lets just say by the time i get round to doing it call it a month ;D

if you had removed it right away you would of stood a chance but the oil breaks down the tarmac so when you do come to remove it you will probably find the tarmac will be damaged no matter what you use.
-
i say scatter a bag of FLOOR GRAnULES on the oil ,the kind that garages use to mop up oil . theyre cheap but dont let rain hit the granules as that mucks them up .

the detergents eat into the tarmac and leave a worn patch. :'(

Right,if your gonna leave it for that long then forget it,your best bet would be cut out the stained patch out and relay it.

I just want to get the oil off the drive, i dont care about what it looks like after.. its mine afterall.
I take it some degreaser oil remover from something like swafega will do the trick.. ::)

Ah right,
well you can try this method i've used before,it might or might not stain it afterwards.
Mix up to a paste of washing up liquid and soap powder, brush it over the oil,cover/tape over with some plastic leave for 24hrs,wash off, trick is not to let the paste dry out.
Its worked for me on concrete/slab even polymeric rubber the stuff they do tennis courts with.

Try degreaser and a stiff brush and a good old blast ;D
