How does the gutter vac unblock u bends between the gutter an the down pipe???
-
It does it really well
The chrome pipe end fits down all the styles of guttering we have cleaned and the suction from the triple motor has been strong enough to clear even compacted dirt.
We have also cleared downpipes via the inspection hatch at the bottom of the pipes open/remove little hatch for access hold gutter vac hose against hole and suck the dirt down and out.
Been using Omnipoles gutter vac for three years now ......can't remember any gutter we couldn't clear.
Now they are not always straight forward and we have "made" one or two extra little attchments to help where for example the tiles have "slipped" and the access gap between roof and tiles is too narrow for the standard fittings.
As i have stated before the gutter vac is excellent, well worth the investment but it can be hard work
cheers

is this the case also for the polarbrite gutter vac?
-
Matt
Your best option is to come and try out the GutterVac TM and then try the Polarbrite machine and compaire the performance.
The Omni GutterVac is 4200 watts whilst the Polarbrite is 2400 watts so that may answer your question.
If you do want a cheap GutterVac we do have a 2000 Watt version.
-
how much is the 2000w one?
-
glyn im thinkin of getting one of these are there any offers on a the moment?
-
Matt
We would be more than happy to demonstrate the PolarVak to you, i think you would be quite impressed with the results, a great vacuum, at a Great price.

Hi Craig
This is a job we completed on Thursday of last week. Would the polabrite vac be able to go this high and get all the debris out ?

Yes we have quite a few customers that use it to the full 45', we recommend using it to 25' , however the vacuum unit deals with 45' with ease.

i think the 2400w motor has a cleaning range of around 28 meters or somthing close to that the polor 1 looks like a good 1 to me
-
Thats right Ian, unfortunately the people on here that judge 2400w vac saying it will not cope have never even used one!!
-
i think it looks a cracking vac specially at that price you wouldnt pay much less for that just as a wet vac,and to make a diy 1 i bet your close to that price to
-
Thankyou Ian, Sensible affordable pricing is our policy,
-
at the end of the day a 2400w vac has a 28 meter cleaning range what more can anyone want i no were i will b shopping for 1 when the time is right

Hi Craig
Just to correct you. On our triple vac system two of the three motors are 2400w and although it would be fine on domestic houses it would not clean the gutters sufficiently at 48ft.
I would say to others to try both systems and then decide.
Sales talk from company owners who sell the equipment will be of no help if it does not do what you want it to do ::)

I couldnt agree more about the sales talk, thats why we are happy to demontrate, then peaple can decide on the power for their self.
And then if somebody felt they needed a triple motor unit, we can supply one, however thus far all have preferred the idea of a British made unit with 2 years warranty as apposed to a far east made model.
-
no1 is comparing it to a triple motored vac with twice the power what i was saying is a 2400w motor wit a cleaning range of what the motor kicks out is a good buy and for anyone doing maily domestic work its a bargin,i am not knocking the more expensive 1s on the market i would hope for the differance in money it should b better, in fact for some of the prices for them it should make a brew clean the gutter unsupervised and right the bill out all on its own
-
Hi Ian
Like yourself i think the polarbrite would work on domestic work fine and is a good price for that kind of work.
Its just that when i see comments like it can handle 45ft with ease i see a salesman in action.
Even the Omnivac does not handle it with ease !! It does it to an acceptable standard but not easy.
Steve
-
i agree with you and i wasnt trying to compare either machine, and would love to see both in action however i couldnt justyfy spending a grand or 2 on 1 ,but the price of the polar 1 is good if you want 1
-
has anyone used the gutter keeper from ionic and if so what was it like
cheers,
Liam.
-
Yes and if I knew how to put a picture up I'll show it in use at five floors!

How does the gutter vac unblock u bends between the gutter an the down pipe???
Have you had a demo yet Matt?
-
Glyn,
Perhaps you could email me leighvile@yahoo.co.uk as i'd like a demo!
Thanks
-
Please forgive me for being thick, but I cannot understand why the power of a vacuum machine should have any bearing on the height to which it can be used.
I thought that the power of a machine was a fair indication of how many cubic feet per minute it would shift (1000 watts = about 40 cfm) and maybe the negative pressure.
Can someone enlighten me?
