Title: what a dummy?

halfway through my days work sun is shining, birds are tweeting thinking to my self this is the life when boom my freedom trolley cuts out,i then realised i forgot to charge it last night so i,v rushed home and put in on charge do u think charging it for an hour would give me enough power to finish the day,i have another ten 3 bed semi,s left ?any thoughts folks?

i was on last 2 houses of day and my plastic goose neck snapped gutted duck tapped and a hope and a prayer i finished them trying not to put any pressure on brush second 1 in 2 weeks that

Get a leisure battery and some jump leads to go with it.

my mate made me some leads that will attatch to the freedom trolly that attatch to the van battery if my trolly goes down

buy a spare and have it ready and charged for future??

Worth its weight in gold id of thought if it means losing potentially £100 every time it goes down at dinner!!

Thats what i did, as just a back up, and carry a set of pliers and some small tools ;)

Same happened to me a few weeks ago, so I paid a visit to my local motor factors and bought a cigar lighter plug (not the actual lighter but a plastic accessory thingy), length of twin cable, in-line fuse holder and a pair of croc clips, wired them all together. Now if my battery dies, I can just plug into lighter socket and attach croc clips to flat battery, drawing power from van battery. Very easy to do, cost about 15euro max.

it takes 16 hours to charge from flat , iuse to charge mine every 4 days now i charge it every 2 days gives better flow rate overall i now only use 1/2 litre a minute
