Title: natural vs fibre fabric rinse
Post by: jfrazermann on September 23, 2009, 11:17:13 pm
I would be interesed to know anyones opinions in those who have used a certain well known makes natural range cleaner compared to what I have been using for years which is the Fibre & fabric rinse (after prespray)as i have noticed a sight trend in those wanting the 'eco-friendly' oriented products.

Detergent free/fibre and fabric rinse. Different products. Rinses such as fibre/fabric rinse or clearwater rinse are essential if you clean wool or blends with higher ph prespray, powerburst as an example. The lower ph of the rinse restores the natural ph of the carpet. It will also combat re-soiling. Detergent free, micro-splitters etc are just that and in most cases are rinsed with water. I use DFC (detergent free) 210, a slightly higher ph prespray, and DFC 105 which in different dilutions can be used as a prespray and a rinse, these don't leave detergent residue.

I still use both regularly and as new products come along I try them, some I get along with, others not, but I have not made an effort to 'go green' Some swear by splitters, M-Power/Nemesis and their alternatives. Try them
