Title: Stain or Clean first

Ive just started working this week and already done a few quotes.Most carpets ive seen have some stains on them.Do i try and clean the stain first,then pre spay and hwe,or do i pre spay, hwe, then see whats left with stain and sort it at the end.Cheers.

clean first chances are a lot of marks will come out with general clean, after this deal with stubborn stains.

If the stains are oil based deal with them first, if water based clean first.
To find out get a kitchen towel and see if you get a transfer, if you do its oil based if not it is water based.
