Title: acrylic paint on stainless steel
Post by: hso on September 23, 2009, 08:59:28 pm
hi All

I need to get tons of acrylic paint off stainless steel and belfast sinks.

any suggestions, scrappers and scouring pads are taking forever.

I need something like a tiny buffer with a black pad....

its been a case of chip it off with a screwdriver but that will take me about 4 weeks!!

got to finish job tomorrow so any help would be great.

perhaps not a great solution but maybe better then using a screwdriver as you'd have to be so careful not to scratch. we use tesco 10p toothbrushes to get light paint off. the brush gets a "large" area of the tap clean and then the other end will push the harder bits off without scracthing the sink.
