First job of the day - big conservatory and gutter clean. Access through the garage. Turned up at the arranged time and ....... i'm locked out.
Oh how I laughed at that one. ::)

depends if you want to keep the job ? if desperate for the money do what you can and agree to go back or walk away i would walk away leaveing a note explaining i had called telling them to call me then add a percentage for a cancelled job if they re book

Got a call early afternoon with all the excuses under the sun - phone not working properly, missed the message, had to go to the hospital etc etc. Luckily I had stacks of work to shuffle about so did it at the end of the day. By then I'd calmed down and felt a little embarrassed about the sarcastic note I'd poked through the letterbox.
