Name / Landline and mobile numbers / address if you are brave enough / what it is you do ie window cleaning / Insured / Maybe a small picture of a bloke with a ladder or bucket.
Keep it simple to start try a few different styles, once you feel you like what you have get them printed by a pro so they look good.
Putting your address on them can make a big impact on returns, but you also run the risk of attracting the occasional nutter.
good luck ;)

keep it nice tidy simple you could leave a space on it to add a price to as your walking up the path that way you only get phone calls for genuine custys that are ringing to book you not just for a quote

i only put "window cleaner " my name and number , but i added a fancy stick on star under my name . this appeals to women ,and 90% of customers are women . stick on stars are £1 per 100 for the really fancy ones (at THE RANGE )

What is the average price to get this done by a pro ? I've just been quoted £80 for 1000 A5 flyers on high grade glossy paper. I thought that sounds ok myself ;)

You could but the danger is to underquote if you dont see the monster conny at back, or the lack of access or the fact they want it doing 4, 6 , 8 , 12 weekly, or frames as well bla bla bla
Just knock the door :) If not in leave leaflet and go back
I know many will say they built on leaflets but i reckon they spent more time posting than i do knocking for same work... and if you are in a heavily saturated area its gonna be hard many leaflets will fall on people with a wc, just look for dirty windows and knock away

Paid £500 for 25,000 A6 flyers on 130 gms stock it's more like card really and easier to put on the fridge . Designed it all myself. All depends how many you want really. The same for 10,000 was £380

Nice leaflet. Where did you get that tiny van?
-
Do you use the van to reach high windows as you havent got any legs?
I did this for mine on the front.
