Post by: Blue Frog Systems on September 20, 2009, 03:49:37 pm
Hi all,

Got my system but no instructions as how to fit it.

The tank & cage are fitted already and ive set up the hose & reel

Im just not sure how to do the rest.

I have...

85amp lesiure battery
100psi shurflo pump & strainer
HydroFlo Controller (hooks up to the battery on my van)

There are connectors coming out of the controller and i havent got a clue where they fit to.

Help appreciated, need to get this running for tomorrow morning

can you take some pics of the wires from hydroflo controller and the pump (most surflos have the same just need to make sure first.

control 4 wire 2 to pump to the battery, pump has 2 red black with push connectors normally.

if you really get stuck and no other post give me a call and I will talk you through it, fitted 5 systems now and each worked  ;)

Right.... picture of the controller

Its a Hydroflo controller, it charges the leisure battery up from the van battery so im told. It has come with two sets of red & black wires with different connectors (so i know which ones fit where)

There is one short set of red & black, one long set of red & black wires and then an orange wire that i have no clue what it is for.

Anyone know how i connect this up ?

The orange one has stumped me a little, as I have a same controller in one of my vans yet it

1 and 2 to battery 3,4 to pump same colour to same colour obviously

inline fuse on the red battery wire thery should be self clipping.

any problems

Thanks Ian :)

Am getting onto that first light. I think the orange should be for the split relay, but they haven't given me the wiring for it.

Andy... Frame was £250, fitting was £250 and ill have a look at the paperwork in the morning for how much the tank was.

I think mine is similar:

Heres the instructions if it helps. I thought the split relay was built in to the unit.
Anyway the orange goes to the vehicle battery.
