Today had a practice run with my new omnivac gutter cleaner,GOOD JOB I DID the"new stainless steel pipe end" for cleaning the gutters and swan necks, was frankly useless,as was the end telescopic pipe you fit it too,i will explain, the sleeve fitted on the telescopic pipe is secured with three rivets and all three were extending inside the pipe by half a inch each of them, and the sleeve on the "new stainless steel pipe end, was exactly the same,as you can imagine this was causing constant blocking,So after spending over two grand or more for the system.i had to drill out the rivets fit roundhead bolts in their place with the nuts on the outside.Has anyone else had this problem on their new omnivac system,to be honest anyone with a ounce of sense surely could of seen this was going to cause a almost instant blockage,i would be interested in GLYNs comments as he supplied it,other than that at the moment touch wood all seems to be ok,just got to get used to the graft involved.

I am sorry you had a problem with the rivet head blocking the aluminium bent head.
As you are probably aware if you have spoken to our staff on the telephone we have been awaiting the specialist bending of the aluminium tubes to form the correct angle on the heads from our supplier which were several weeks late , this put pressure on our staff to quickly turn orders around and an inexperianced staff member helped with the construction of the heads.
Thank you for letting me know.

thanks for your reply Glyn,do you think you can send me a orange narrow gutter cleaning head,as a small compensation for my time and trouble for sorting it out, good customer relations etc, as a new and recent purchacer of your equipment, and no doubt in the future.

if you dont ask you dont get....
waiting with baited breath lol, have to say omnipoles pens are very good bit of kit aswell ;D

I am certain I can arrange a taper head as way of compensation.
The only problem is I dont know who you are as a quantity of systems were sent out this week and your name doesnt help me personally.
Give Andrea (office manager) a call or email us on Monday.
I should also add that we recently purchassed a new automatic compressor powered riviteng machine so I will get one of our staff to check that their is not a fault with it. Thanks Again
