Title: A fun thread
Post by: Gleaming windows on September 18, 2009, 05:15:39 pm
I thought a bit of fun and discovery might cheer the old place up, so with that in mind....

Rightie fellas, I thought it might be interesting to see if anyone on here is cleaning any old houses any of us used to live in and we can all see if our old baby bedrooms are being polished by a shiner from CIU.

You never know Ewan might be cleaning the window on Cozy's old 5-knuckle-shuffle-stink-pit  ;D

So, I'll start off, these are the places I used to live, is anyone on here cleaning these places?

17, Windrush Road Keynsham, Bristol.

1, The Rocks, Cattistock, Dorset.

Come back regularly and check, as you may find someone posts their old address and you ARE cleaning it now.

Make sure you put your old home addresses so we can all cross reference them.

Matt

Anderson st Derby, lived there from age 1 to 11, I clean the last house my wife lived in before she was lucky enough to meet me!  I think Ewan is in the west midlands, so no chance of a part time WC cleaning in my old area ;D

Well there you go!!

I lived there from the age of 2 to 15. My room was where the single window is above the garage porch. I bet its changed some since then, the Oates lived next door at 19 and my sisters maths teacher on the other side. When I was about 12 I pushed my sister through the glazed front door, cut her arm open from elbow to shoulder, cut the muscle the same distance inside (I thought it was 2 muscles, but it was one cut in half). She ended up having about 80 stitches. You can tell the owners a bit of history about that place now, oh btw we used to have 'fairs' in the back garden as kids and Alex Farnham who lived in Torridge road told fortunes dressed as a fortune teller!

Thats history mate!! lol

Anyway, theres  a result, thanks frank.

Say hi to Kelston roundtop for me (the trees on the hill in the distance)

here goes!

Longridge Avenue, Saltdean, Brighton
The Common, Henfield (Brighton outskirts)
New Barn Road, Rottingdean Brighton
Buckingham Road, Brighton (too many addresses in Brighton, I moved loads in my teens!)
Westdowns Road, Delabole, North Cornwall
The Barn, Trenale, Tintagel, North Cornwall
Pershore (Worcs)......cant remember where
Rocky Valley, Trethevy, Tintagel
Highfield Road, Camelford

It was actually very tempting to give a long list of local pubs instead as I used to live there more than my actual home! lol Maybe we should start another thread...."have you ever got drunk here"? hehee :P
