Title: Gloves

Can anyone say what gloves might be of use in Winter. I used to clean windows about 20 years ago and I'm just about to get started back in the business. Back then I tried lots of things to keep my hands warm but nothing seemed to work much.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated, thanks.

Neoprene divers gloves...but they make your hands smell or perhaps thick black marigold type gloves with a cotton inner....this is my personal favorite.

Only thing to keep your hands dry and warm.

Gloves!!! you dont need gloves, once your hands get to the pain barrier your hands warm up and stay warm all day. Ive never used gloves in 15 years and dont intend to, its part of the job.  ;D

They sell them in Tesco and Asda. Probably other places too but I`ve got mine from there. Heavy duty rubber gloves they`re called i think, about £2 a pair. Get largest size so you can wear a liner underneath when really cold. If it`s not too bad they`ll do on their own.
  Still a bit cumbersome for trad but best option I`ve tried and cheap.

Yup, Thinsulate gloves with the black marigold work a treat. Totally waterproof but not to cumbersum.

i saw a guy cleaning trad wearing gloves that looked like wide mesh ,it was fingerless and bright yellow colour . looked flashy
