All my work is residential so far. Im looking at buying a pure water fed pole system for this work so I can get more work done and so make more money as well as being safer as a lot of the houses you need to stand on a sloped roof and at this time of year its a bit dangerous. How do you get on doing residential as you need a water supply and some houses dont have a tap, if you use the systems with its own water supply in the van how long does the hoses reach cause some houses dont have roads going right up to them. Finally someone said that you charge the same price for the work - is this right. Cheers

Have a think about a trolley system, if the job is close to the car/van then leave it all in there and run your hose out to the house. If its a distance then take your trolley with you. Obviously you'll need to carry 20L barrels in the motor to swap out on the trolley.
You'll also need an RO system at home to make the water. As for charging there's lots of opinions on that, you should consider your outlay on equipment though when pricing but then again you'll be able to do many more jobs that you couldn't do trad so it even's out I guess.
