Title: Snails
Post by: ftp on September 15, 2009, 06:13:01 pm: Did a house yesterday then back for the insides today. Looking at the glass (usual crap results from crappy water fed pole crap system) I noticed marks on the outside that looked just like someone had run a drill up the glass - turned out to be snail trails that either didn't come off yesterday or happened last night. They look dreadfull if you miss them. :-[

they stand out a mile as the water flows over them.

Post by: NWH on September 15, 2009, 06:19:34 pm: On snail trails just go over the trail in the direction it travels ie just follow it with the brush you`ll find that a couple of passes and it`ll be gone or you could use hot water and stop moaning lol. ;D ;D

This always confuses me? ???

I think I know what you mean, did they look like spirals & only go virtical? if so they are not snail trails & I agree, they are really hard to get off. They won't come off with normal scrubbing. They're hard to get off trad too.
