Post by: wilclean on September 13, 2009, 07:19:38 pm
Hi all

Can anyone recommend any books on crime scene cleaning ( how to start and run a business..............) as its something I wouldnt mind starting up. I've looked on the internet and only found one book so far but need to know if theres any more out there. I thought if and can get clued up through reading books then I could go for a few courses later on.

Hi Paul

There's a guy on the scsf cleaning website who does crime scene clean-ups. If you have a look round its not too hard to find him and he runs courses as well.

cheers - but its the books I'm after for now as I want to try and swat up first before going for any courses. It'll give me a chance to see what I'm getting into before spending money on courses.

Hi

Will

Go onto youtube and put in crime scene cleaning, there are loads of videos, also put in 'mans work'.

How clean is your crime scene is on monday nights on bravo at 9pm, with grime fighters on ITV on Tuesdays (go to www.itvplayer.com to view back episodes.

This is how I decided whether I felt I could do this work, eating while watching a suicide and stabbing cleanup (on youtube).

No book can prepare you, best to watch and see what might be required, the courses are good and very intense, there are two NACSC and Cornerstone, laurence at Cornerstone trained me.

Good luck
