Title: Putting signs out when working (residental)
Post by: Blue Frog Systems on September 13, 2009, 11:06:48 am
Wondered if you guys put signs up when working residential ?

Was thinking that if I'm parked outside a custys house and my hose goes across the pavement I might need to put a sign out ?

Do you guys do it ? How do you stop a sign wandering off when you can't see it ?

i use a couple of  " Trip Hazard, caution trailing hoses," cones..

the are around 15 quid, sturdy with a weighty base so they never blow away,

i put on over every pavement my hose crosses..

if i take my hose up the pavement, i put two out on the grass verge.

Sign plus a bit of black sticky-back plastic and a chalk pen.

Movable advert and DOES get the odd bit of new work.

Cheers guys, will have to find a couple of cones ( there were loads on the M6 last night ;) )

Wally, love the idea. Its like an advertising board aswell as a warning sign. Definatley worth doing I reckon
